Persia Resto Pub and Sheesha Lounge

Nice price but way too expensive

Are you are reveller looking for a place to go have a drink to unwind from your daily hustle the the place to be is persia Resto Pub on the Thika Super Highway. Soothing mixes from the djs. ample and secure parking since its at the Thika Road mall. Their delicacies are top notch not forgetting the sheesha. I was disappointed by the high prices they charge people on drinks not a good way to welcome customers plus their slow service

Sierra Brasserie restaurant

Joining Sierra and Brew Bistro, Sirville is a microbrewery based in Langata road’s Galleria mall. I loved the great service and décor, TV for the sports junkie, clean washrooms, that it was disability friendly and it was conveniently located. On the downside the emergency exits were not convincing and meals can be pricey

The Junction Mall

As malls are not the done thing in my home country, it was a bit of a culture shock to find them prominently located in most NBO suburbs. Junction has some great places to eat (particularly the art cafe, and its associated bakery stall next to Nakumart). The fresh fruits and vegetables store facing the car park is well priced, fresh, and has low cost flowers, juice, and yoghurt. The cinema has all the regular offerings and makes for a fun way to spend a rainy afternoon. There is plenty of parking.

Ole Sereni Hotel

Had lunch at Ole Sereni

We stopped over for lunch at this hotel while at Nairobi National park and I would say its location is perfect. Its inside the park and yet so close to the main highway that leads to Nairobi's international airport. I would definitely recommend it to anyone staying in Nairobi and looking for a hotel close to the airport or with views of Nairobi National Park. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the food was great

Hemingways Resort

Business Trip

I stayed care of the owner as part of business trip. First class experience, amazing staff. A really excellent hotel to stay in while staying in Kenya. Enjoyed the best Josper steak I have ever had. The suite was unbelievable a proper 5 star hotel with well-manicured gardens. Be on the hotel balcony at sunset well worth it

Villa Rosa kempinski Nairobi

On its Own League

Have been at this hotel 2 times and this is the best luxury hotel that Nairobi has to offer. Facilities are excellent and you can easily observe right from the lobby that the interior designers took all their time to come up with these facilities. Rooms are spotless. The service is efficient and professional. Restaurants offer mouth watering dishes. Very good for leisure and business. Access to-and-from the airport is easy as the hotel is located along the main road.

Fairmont the norfolk

Charming Hotel

I've stayed here a few times, the food is nice, staff are friendly and the location is good. The pool is somewhat overlooked but nice and clean. The rooms around the courtyard and immediately off the courtyard are better than the ones that look out the front of the hotel. I'd also recommend signing up to the Fairmont Presidents club to get free wifi otherwise you have to pay.

Yaya centre

“A compact but comprehensive shopping centre”

Built on a tight footprint in the Eighties, YaYa is a three-storey shopping mall built around an atrium, at the bottom of which is a rather nice coffee shop and bakery. Many of the shops and restaurants on the upper levels appear dark and relatively uninviting, however - one can get almost anything at this compact little shopping centre. The BookStop - probably Nairobi's best bookshop, sells foreign newspapers, magazines and periodicals - and stocks nearly 2.5million new and used books. Security at YaYa is good, there's covered parking and on Sundays Yaya hosts a lovely Maasai Market.

The Village Market

The Place To Be

The Village market is an uptown market with a good choice for shops and things to select from, Their food court is quite alright but could do better, mouth watering sandwiches and snacks. Good for lazy family afternoon, a nice hangout with friends and subtle evening with a loved one.

Sarit Centre

Nice Place

You will find everything you need here; banks, posts, photography, bike repairs and sales, art gallery, bookshops, supermarket, cobbler and everything else you need plus a food court and coffee houses. Parking is paid for but it still is hard to get a parking. Just keep your 50 shillings to pay as that is the most I seem to pay after two hours.
